The SmartScore: Your Essential Indicator

To allow you to measure the relevance of a profile in relation to your search, we have developed the SmartScore: a score from 0 to 100, displayed on each profile, which tells you how closely the candidate matches all your search criteria. The SmartScore is calculated using the most sophisticated assessment technologies and ranking algorithms that currently exist. Several indicators are taken into account in calculating the SmartScore, including:

  • More than 50 behavioral criteria: our algorithms identify the profiles that best match all the criteria you have defined. This is the most important element in the equation;
  • Location: if you are looking for a profile in Marseille…it would be irrelevant to suggest profiles in Brest. Our algorithms go even further, including daily commute logic: for example, 2 cities may be far apart but connected by a high-speed train that makes the trip in 20 minutes. The SmartScore includes this proximity logic as a ranking criterion;
  • Job role: we naturally consider a person already performing the job you are recruiting for as more relevant. However, we have developed similarity indicators between jobs, based on technical skills. In other words: the search results allow you to expand your talent pool by also targeting profiles in similar roles to the one you are seeking!
  • Experience and degree as optional criteria: even though they carry the lowest weight in the SmartScore calculation, we have included mathematical logic that reflects their real impact on performance and maximizes their value in the ranking.
