Brain cognitive test.

It takes less than 10 minutes to assess an individual’s capacity to reinvent themselves and face tomorrow’s challenges.

Finally a test that looks nothing like a test!

If we’re speaking honestly, traditional cognitive tests are long, tedious and often taken in the context of a deplorable user experience. With Brain, we took the completely opposite approach by using adaptive technology to reduce test time and minimise frustration for test-takers with lower scores.

The CHC Model.

The Cattell-Horn-Carroll (CHC) model describes human intelligence and cognitive abilities as a hierarchical structure where “narrow” cognitive factors predict “broad” cognitive factors, which in turn predict the general intelligence factor—considered today as the best single predictor of work performance and, more generally, of adaptability.

PREDICTIVE TECHNOLOGY

Base your HR decisions on data.

In under 10 minutes, the Brain data collection module can predict an individual’s general ability to learn and adapt, with remarkable precision. In addition to obtaining a global score you can easily interpret, you will also get data on each individual’s reasoning speed, as well as the strategies they employ when confronted with new challenges at work.

A gamified solution.

We have completely reinvented cognitive ability assessment by incorporating the basic principles of gaming, based on neuroscience. Through gaming and an adaptative approach we have significantly reduced the time required for collecting data, while also increasing the level of enjoyment for test-takers, as they complete their profile.

10 minutes... and not a minute more.

On average it takes less than 10 minutes to complete your Brain profile. There’s no time to get bored or impatient during the test. When finished, candidates and employees get their profile report straight away!

1 (super)powerful factor.

The general adaptability factor that Brain measures is the most powerful existing indicator in predicting the capacity of an individual to adapt to a world undergoing continuous change.

4 strategies explained in-depth.

In addition to predicting a person’s capacity to reason accurately, Brain also identifies the strategies each person uses on a daily basis when confronted with new challenges.

3 potential talents.

Instantly discover the unique talents that each of your candidates or employees can leverage when tasked with making decisions.

4 risk factors.

Will a person’s natural tendencies lead them to become ineffectual when under pressure? We will let you know straight away!

4 learning styles.

With Brain, you can go beyond reasoning skills and adaptability, and gain a clear understanding of how people go about learning new things and acquiring new skills.

Foolproof reliability.

Our tests were designed by the Science & Innovation team to be genuine data collection modules which uphold the highest international psychometric standards.

Reliability

By calculating reliability indicators we can ensure the coherence of the items used to assess reasoning ability through Brain, as well as the stability of measurements over time.
Our reliability studies address the internal consistency of each of the scales (Chronbach’s Alpha), as well as test-rest reliability.

PSYCHOMETRIC DATA

Sensitivity

By calculating sensitivity indicators for Brain, we can verify the capacity of the module to accurately distinguish individuals from one another based on measured criteria.

Our sensibility studies focus on determining the Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA), which allows us to assess the standard deviation between the expected matrix and the observed matrix.

Fairness

We have developed measures to ensure Brain does not put any category of respondents at a disadvantage, including a visual design suitable for the most common types of color-blindness, the use of a “culture-free” approach to reduce cross-cultural bias, and test items fully adapted to dyslexic test-takers.
